– Lead on delivering or contributing to a strategy to ensure an integrated analatical appraoch to policy work
– Advise on economic problems and issues in financial markets. Advise on cost benefit analyses of regulatory policy
– Contribute to competition market studies
– Contribute to a programme of high-quality, policy-relevant research
– Represent the organisation to external stakeholders
– Manage and coach associates in the delivery of the above range of activities
The successfull candidates will have a postgraduate qualification in economics or related discipline OR an undergraduate degree in economics with significant relevant professional experience. The roles also require experience in delivering analytical projects, well developed organisational skills and an ability to work independantly and be an effective team player. Explaining complex economic issues in a clear and lucid manner to non specilaists is also essential.
